Swimsuit Models Wow Car Show Crowd at Cars and Coffee Event

PALM BEACH GARDENS – Swimsuit model Cristina Tufford flashed a megawatt smile at a fan and scribbled her signature on a glossy calendar. The crowd at the Cars and Coffee meet was thick and a line at the calendar giveaway table was beginning to build.

Florida Fine Cars caught up with the Tropic Beauty swimsuit models at the autograph table to find out how they got involved.

The 29-year-old from West Palm Beach is one of Tropic Beauty’s November 2018 calendar girls. She was at the Palm Beach Outlets Mall to mingle.

Tropic Beauty models Cristina Tufford and Gabriella Davis hold up a 2018 calendar at a recent Cars and Coffee event.

“I was Miss Palm Beach, Miss Jupiter and Miss Seminole,” said Tufford, explaining her long association with modeling and pageants. “I started with the brand when I was 23.”

The company sprang from Hawaiian Tropic, known for its tanning oils, bikini contests and beautiful spokeswomen who hawked the company’s products in showy swimwear. Tropic Beauty was created to provide a venue for the models after Playtex Products Inc. bought Hawaiian Tropic in 2007, and then Energizer Holdings Inc. bought Playtex a short time later.

“Tropic Beauty didn’t want to give up the models,” Tufford said.

Tropic Beauty Fills Gap Left by Hawaiian Tropic

Boca Raton resident Amy Raley, who used to work with Hawaiian Tropic, made it all happen. The former model started Tropic Beauty from scratch after Energizer discontinued the model search.FFC Logo New Car

“I started going into all the markets that previously had Hawaiian Tropic,” Raley said. “Now we work with Wynn Nightlife and a 5-star hotel in Las Vegas. We do photoshoots and do a competition with the best photographs. The best of the best are picked for the calendar.”

Copies of the new Tropic Beauty calendar were a hot commodity at a recent Cars and Coffee event.

Tropic Beauty’s website describes the company as “a model & photographers platform for a dream career and fascinating lifestyle in the entertainment industry. It allows them to be noticed, published and excel.”

The Tropic Beauty models have become brand ambassadors and social media influencers, Raley said.

“A lot of people invite us to come to their events to boost their social media presence,” Raley said.

Modeling Experience Offers Opportunity, Recognition

Gabriella Davis, 20, of Houston, TX, is one of the newest Tropic Beauty models. She works Tropic Beauty appearances in around her schedule as a full-time student at the University of Houston, real estate school and cheering professionally for the Houston Texans.

“It’s fun,” she said of Tropic Beauty. “Absolutely amazing people.”

So what are the top four comments/questions the models hear?

  • Are the calendars free?
  • Are you in it?
  • Which one are you?
  • Let me see if I can guess!
  • Can I get a picture with you?

Catherine Cybulkiewicz, 28, is one of the calendar’s March 2018 models. The graphic designer from Miami is a native of Venezuela and has been working for Tropic Beauty since 2014. She was Miss Tropic Beauty Las Vegas in 2015 and won third place in the World Finals in 2014.

“I love being on the stage. It’s always fun,” Cybulkiewicz said. “Modeling is a passion. It’s like a hobby.”

IMG_6295

Tropic Beauty model Catherine Cybulkiewicz shows off her calendar photo.

She began modeling at age 17 in Venezuela and has participated in at least nine beauty contests.

The contacts she made through Tropic Beauty helped pave the way for her to be chosen as a cover girl for a French magazine.

Tropic Beauty has provided opportunities for new life experiences, she noted.

And that is exactly what their Facebook pages says. It describes Tropic Beauty as “A Health & Beauty Company that is Home to the Most #beautiful Swimwear Models in the World! Leader in the Swimsuit Calendar Photo Shoot Experience!”

Florida Fine Cars’ Customer Service Wins National Recognition

MIAMI – For the third year in a row, one of the country’s most popular consumer review sites has recognized used car giant Florida Fine Cars for consistently delivering outstanding customer service.2018Dealerratercustomersatis

The family-owned dealership received DealerRater’s 2018 Consumer Satisfaction Award for providing top-notch service to used cars buyers in the Tri-County area and across the nation. The used car chain, with stores in Miami, Hollywood and West Palm Beach, recently opened a fourth store in Margate to accommodate growth.

“Providing our customers with an enjoyable, stress-free car-buying experience that emphasizes quality service is what Florida Fine Cars is all about,” said marketing director Jamie Suid. “We want every customer to leave with a great car and great memories. And our amazing reviews show that we are hitting the mark.”

Online Review Site Highlights Customer-Friendly Dealers

DealerRater, the world’s leading car dealer review website, created the Consumer Satisfaction Award program to let online car shoppers instantly spot dealers that provide high-quality customer service.

FFC Logo New CarThe award gives Florida Fine Cars a unique distinction based on the dealership’s high volume of five-star online customer reviews. It was an honor to be recognized for a third time for its customer service, Suid said.

“It’s gratifying to know that DealerRater recognizes hard much work goes into achieving so many positive customer reviews,” Suid added.

Consumer Satisfaction Awards are given to the top 10 percent of U.S. new-car dealers based on their PowerScore™, as well as top independent and Canadian dealerships that receive at least 25 annual reviews and maintain an average PowerScore™ rating of 4.0 out of 5.0., according to DealerRater’s website.

SUVs await new owners at Florida Fine Cars West Palm Beach.

The PowerScore™ is determined using a Bayesian algorithm that factors the dealership’s average DealerRater consumer rating and the total number of reviews written about the dealership during the 2016 calendar year.

“We’d like to congratulate Florida Fine Cars and all of our Consumer Satisfaction Award winners,” said DealerRater General Manager, Jamie Oldershaw. “DealerRater’s extensive review database allows shoppers to identify dealerships that are providing excellent customer experiences, and it’s clear that Florida Fine Cars stands out amongst its peers in the U.S.”

DealerRater features more than four million dealer reviews, and has a reachable audience of more than 32 million car shoppers each month.

“Our awards program was more competitive than ever this past year, with thousands of dealers across the U.S. and Canada competing to win our coveted Dealer of the Year award,” Oldershaw said. “The Consumer Satisfaction Award is one way for today’s shoppers to instantly recognize quality customer service regardless of brand or region.”

DealerRater offers more than 6 million sales and service reviews across 42,000 U.S. and Canadian dealerships, including a network of more than 6,000 Certified Dealers.

Florida Fine Cars Backs Autism Initiative

Miami resident and Florida Fine Cars customer Luis Gomez poses next to a 2016 Corvette z06.

WEST PALM BEACH – Used car giant Florida Fine Cars sponsored “The 7th Home Show Munch, Mingle & Much More” in a show of support for Autism Speaks Palm Beach County.

The nationally recognized non-profit organization received a portion of event proceeds to fund advocacy and support for individuals who are diagnosed with autism. The funds also go towards research into the cause and early intervention. A 55-inch television and several other items were raffled to raise money.FFC Logo New Car

“Our whole goal is to connect with the local businesses and families and let them know there are resources here,” explained Melissa Dinuzzo, manager for Autism Speaks Palm Beach, as she passed out brochures about autism and answered questions. “We want to promote acceptance and understanding and also promote our March 4th Autism Speaks Walk to raise money.”

Autism Speaks Offers Family Support, Community Outreach

Florida Fine Cars signed on as a sponsor because the family-owned auto dealership is active in the community and a strong supporter of not-for-profit organizations.

“Autism Speaks is a lifeline for families with autistic children. It provides education, outreach and a huge array of resources for families who may otherwise feel frustrated or alone. It was an easy decision to become part of this worthy event,” said Jamie Suid, marketing director for Florida Fine Cars. “Helping kids is what it’s all about.”

About 2,000 local residents attended the event at the Meyer Amphitheater in the heart of downtown West Palm Beach.

According to the Autism Speaks website, the organization is “dedicated to promoting solutions, across the spectrum and throughout the lifespan, for the needs of individuals with autism and their families through advocacy and support; increasing understanding and acceptance of people with autism spectrum disorder; and advancing research into causes and better interventions for autism spectrum disorder and related conditions.”

Increasing Autism Awareness and Acceptance is Organization’s Goal

Dinuzzo said events like the Jan. 13th one are important for increasing awareness about autism and helping to reduce stigmas that often result due to a lack of knowledge.

The event also provided a chance for Dinuzzo to plug the upcoming March 4th Autism Speaks Walk to raise money for the cause. The annual walk is a major fundraiser for the not-for-profit organization.

According to Dinuzzo, one in 68 children are diagnosed with autism and more than 70 million people worldwide are on the autism spectrum. The cost to care for a child on the spectrum is estimated at approximately $65,000, she said. Therapies such as physical, speech, and applied behavioral analysis are commonly used, she noted. Costly medications may also be part of treatment.

“You can look at someone on the spectrum and they look just like everyone else, but they might lack the eye contact,” she explained. Individuals on the autism spectrum may have a wide range of symptoms, skills and levels of disability. Those who suffer from autism may have ongoing social problems that include difficulty communicating and interacting with others, according to the National Institute of Mental Health.

“We want to be that puzzle piece that connects the community to resources,” Dinuzzo said.

Did You Know These Weird Car Facts?

nissancluster1Americans LOVE their cars. In fact, the automobile and real estate industries account for $1 of every $2 spent by the typical American family, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

And it doesn’t seem to matter what the family income is. The ratio of spending averages out to about the same. The bottom line: Americans love hot wheels.FFC Logo New Car

Crazy Car Facts You May Not Know!

  1. The first cars didn’t have steering wheels so the driver had to steer with a lever

Manufacturers reinforce the body and add a more powerful engine to accommodate the extra weight and stress and for the purposes of helping them last longer. For some people, their ride to the cemetery marks their first – and only – ride in a top of the line luxury automobile.KidCar
  6. Little Tikes, red and yellow Cozy Coupe toy car reached 6 million units in sales by its 25th anniversary in 2004, and was called the “world’s best-selling car for much of this decade”1 by The New York Times in 1998, outselling the Honda Accord and Ford Taurus. (New York Times, 10/21/98)

Mrs Driscoll, a 44 year old housewife, who was traveling from Old Town, Croydon to a folk-dancing display in Crystal Palace, became the first pedestrian in the UK to be killed by a car. She was hit by a demonstration car traveling at 4mph. She died within minutes of receiving a head injury.

Florida Fine Cars Supports Upcoming Youth Concert

WEST PALM BEACH — Florida Fine Cars is helping a popular youth choral group cover essential costs so children from all walks of life can participate.

When the Young Singers of the Palm Beaches take the stage on May 6th, 350 students will wow the audience at the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts with an amazing repertoire of patriotic classics, folk songs and other favorites.

YoungSingersPic

Six separate student choirs will take guests through a musical history lesson that includes a piece by the great Irving Berlin, a tribute to Judy Garland and catchy numbers from the Broadway hits “Hairspray” and “Hamilton.” There will even be an old-fashioned sing-a-long.

“It’s pretty powerful,” said Shawn Berry, the group’s founder and artistic director. “This concert is called an ‘American Tapestry.’  We gave it a broad range. It includes American composers of (many) American genres of music. I am proud of them.”

Florida Fine Cars learned about the Young Singers of the Palm Beaches through customers Gina and Roger Francis and have supported the music program ever since. The couple’s sixth grader Lauren, 12, has been a member of the group for three years. FFC Logo New Car

“Florida Fine Cars is proud to support this incredible music program which provides hundreds of students an amazing venue to perform and be part of a group,” said Florida Fine Cars marketing director Jamie Suid. “Kids today spend too much time on computers. This program taps into their talent and showcases their abilities in a way that builds confidence and character.”

The financial support provided by businesses like Florida Fine Cars helps cover students’ tuition, costumes or anything else they need assistance with.

“We do a lot of fundraising and get ads to help pay the tuition of our students,” said Gina Francis.  “I reached out to Florida Fine Cars. Their support helps pay for anything the students need. It helps cut costs and makes sure anyone who can’t pay can participate.”

Lauren has gained confidence and poise and improved her social skills performing on the stage of the Kravis Center, her mother said.

“It’s done amazing things. She is rubbing shoulders with people from all walks of life and all nationalities,” Gina Francis said.

Youth Choir Program Serves Children Throughout Palm Beach

The program serves students from Jupiter to West Boca Raton. Participants range from second graders to 12th graders and hail from more than 100 different Palm Beach County schools, including home schools. Young Singers of the Palm Beaches is sponsored by the Palm Beach Board of County Commissioners, the Tourist Development Council and the Cultural Council of Palm Beach County.

For more information about the Young Singers of the Palm Beaches, click here.

Students audition to be part of Young Singers, perform two major concerts a year and hold concerts at smaller venues, such as the Flagler Museum.

“The main thing they get out of it is the experience of coming together and singing and learning other skills that go along with singing – commitment and the ability to socialize with others,” Berry said.

Participants Learn Teamwork, Gain Confidence

Jene Rhoads of West Palm Beach couldn’t agree more. Her two young daughters Pavani, 8, and Annika, 11, joined the group 1 1/2 years ago and love it.

“This is the one time I find that things slow down and they focus on this very peaceful, joyful art of singing,” Rhoads said. “It’s very emotional. I think this is one way they will develop compassion.”

Rhoads grew up playing violin in a youth orchestra and wanted her daughters to experience what it’s like to be part of a structured, organized chorus instead of just singing in a church.

“They have a passion for singing and this group is very passionate abut singing,” she said. “I think they are so much better prepared because they’ve been part of this group and so much more confident.”

Tickets for the May 6th concert start at $15 and can be purchased at the Kravis Center box office or online.

Porsche Offers Style and Performance

Says Kelley Blue Book: “The Panamera’s sophisticated suspension easily dispatches anything the pavement serves up, the brakes set the standard for stopping performance, and the sum is an ease of use that makes ordinary drivers feel like heroes.”

panamerainterior

The luxurious interior of a Florida Fine Cars Porsche Panamera

What else makes the Panamera such a standout? According to Edmunds.com, many things:

“It has the feature content, interior quality and price tag of a flagship luxury sedan, yet it has only four seats and the hatchback body style of a hatchback,” Edmunds.com notes. “It has the interior design and performance soul of a 911, and the exterior styling of one that went on a binge diet of Baconators. The Panamera really is like nothing else on the road, and that just makes it all the more special.”

Climb inside and smell the leather. The beautifully-crafted seats are supportive, highly adjustable and include heating and ventilation. The design is elegant, made of first-class materials and extreme quality. The interior has plenty of space.

“It’s surprisingly roomy, with ample leg- and headroom in all four seating positions, even in the standard-wheelbase version. Your six-foot-two author had no trouble fitting in the back when the driver’s seat was set to his preferences.” — Car and Driver (2014)

“There’s ample legroom for tall rear passengers even in the standard-wheelbase models, while the Executive’s stretched wheelbase enables crossed-leg cruising.” — Edmunds (2015)

Here’s some quick Panamera facts from Edmunds.com:

  1. The base rear-wheel drive Panamera and the all-wheel-drive Panamera 4 are powered by a V-6 engine
  2. Both models include 18-inch wheels, automatic bi-xenon headlights, LED running lights, front & rear parking sensors, power-folding and auto-dimming mirrors, automatic wipers, cruise control, a sunroof and powerliftgate
  3. Standard features include a navigation system, a 7-inch central touchscreen, smartphone app integration, Bluetooth connectivity, 11-speaker sound system with satellite and HD radios & a media player interface

Kelley Blue Book praises the 2014 Porsche Panamera with these words:

“If you need a sedan but crave the performance of an exotic coupe, the Porsche Panamera for 2014 is calling your name. Sure, there are numerous high-performance luxury 4-door sedans, but none can rival the Panamera’s one-off good looks, unique cabin configuration or diverse model range,” Kelley Blue Book states.

Alejo only began selling used cars last summer after another sales associate convinced him to try his hand at car sales. Alejo met sales associate John Ansari in a kosher supermarket in Aventura where Alejo was stocking shelves and doing inventory. Ansari saw potential in Alejo’s customer service skills and helped him get a job selling cars at Florida Fine Cars.

“You have to sell yourself. You don’t sell the cars become the customer’s best friend, become their advisor. I just help them find the right one and give them my opinion on which one is better for them, which one will work better,”  Alejo said. “I enjoy it, becoming their friend. The main thing with customers is killing them with kindness and showing them love.”

Miller reached her numbers by reporting to work early, checking back with previous customers and always following up.

His best sales personnel embrace those factors and work hard to find a happy medium. The dealership’s list of glowing reviews are proof that Florida Fine Cars has found the sweet spot.

“The process of the sale is an emotional process,” Lunn acknowledged. “I like to help customers get what they want. The internet has forced car dealers to change the way they deal with people. (Customers) want to deal with people they trust.”

Florida Fine Cars offers nearly 1,500 quality used cars for sale priced thousands below retail at its three locations combined. 5 Reasons To Buy a Used Car at Florida Fine Cars

New or used. That is the question and when it comes to car shopping there is a world of difference between the two.

Florida Fine Cars veteran finance manager Craig Grunewald explains why it makes sense to buy your next car used at Florida Fine Cars, a family-owned used car dealer known for its impressive selection of quality used cars.NewFCCLogo

Remember, used car shopping has evolved with the growth of the Internet and used car dealers have been forced to up their game: transparency, honesty, and total disclosure are what car buyers experience when they shop at Florida Fine Cars.

Here are Grunewald’s top 5 reasons why buying a used Florida Fine Cars vehicle is the ONLY way to go:

  1. Depreciation. It’s the No. 1 reason why everyone should buy used. New car values drop an estimated 30 percent in the first year. According to Edmunds.com, a car loses less than that in years two, three and four combined. That means a car buyer who purchases a car in its second year and owns it for three years saves a ton of cash, Edmunds.com notes. “(Customers) should save that money (they would lose the first year) and instead buy a used vehicle,” Grunewald said. “A used vehicle depreciates much less.”
  2. Cost. A used vehicle has already depreciated so there won’t be as much sticker shock upfront. A used vehicle simply costs less than a new one. You automatically get more bang for your buck when you buy used instead of new, Grunewald said.
  3. More for Less. Cars are all about image and when a customer buys used instead of new, dreams CAN come true! A make and model that would normally be out of a car buyer’s range suddenly becomes attainable because it costs so much less used. “Someone could walk into a dealer wanting to buy a Honda and realize that a used Mercedes is the same price as a new Honda,” Grunewald stated. “A customer can own a make and model that they would never aspire to own otherwise.”
  4. Perfect Payments. Finding the right size payment is a challenge most car buyers face. Too much car translates into too big a payment. But with a used car, obtaining an affordable car payment is much more likely because the car itself will be much more reasonably priced.“People are always worried about the payment. Used cars have already been depreciated so you are buying the car for less. When comparing to a similar car new, the payments will be much less,” Grunewald pointed out.
  5. Warranties. When it comes to protecting your used car, no worries. Extended warranties can be purchased for most used vehicles, providing used car buyers the same sort of added peace of mind they might have when buying a more expensive new car that is under factory warranty.

Need a used car? Here’s a few tips and tricks from a veteran Florida Fine Cars used car professional on how to get the best bang for your buck and drive off in the used car of your dreams with as few headaches as possible.

Remember, when you’re shopping for a used car, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed. Used car dealers today offer so many different makes and models and all of them look like new. It’s important to find a dealer with top-notch customer service to help guide you through the car buying experience. Florida Fine Cars sales professionals make the process easy!

NewFCCLogoCar shopping has also changed. Many consumers comb the internet for great deals long before they ever step out onto an actual car lot. Car buyers today are savvy, educated and determined to find the best price around.

According to Tasevski, lowest price is what most car buyers are shopping for and the majority of potential buyers who walk into a dealership have already done their homework online.

“Most customers know what kind of car they can qualify for. They are smart customers,” Tasevski added.

So what can a used car buyer do to make their car shopping experience even easier? Here are a few tips from Tasevski that will help simplify the process:

  1. Know your budget:  A customer has to have an adequate income to purchase a car and must be realistic when selecting a price range.“If someone makes $10-an-hour, they won’t qualify for an $80,000 car,” Tasevski said. “They have to have reasonable expectations.”
  2. Know how much money you can afford to put down:  The amount required to purchase a used car will vary based on the make, model and year of the vehicle.“The older the car and the higher mileage, the less money a customer generally has to put down, and vice versa,” Tasevski noted. Be prepared.
  3. Know your credit score:  A customer with a higher credit score can usually obtain a better interest rate and better loan terms. Customers with lower credit score can still purchase vehicles but must be more flexible in their expectations about terms and rates. Florida Fine Cars works with all customers.
  4. Bring proof of income: Pay stubs are essential. Car dealers can’t sell a vehicle to someone who doesn’t have the ability to pay off a car loan.
  5. Know what you are shopping for: Used car dealers today are so large and stock so many different makes and models that an unprepared used car shopper can easily be overwhelmed by the massive inventory. Every used car for sale is unique so it is important to know ahead of time what kind of car you are looking for and what features are important to you. Knowing these facts beforehand will simplify a car buyer’s search.
  6. Get pre-approved for financing online: Go to www.floridafinecars.com and click the “financing” button at the top of the page. Fill out the form ahead of time to save time when you arrive at the dealership. It’s simple.
  7. Read the free online CARFAX reports:  An educated customer is a smart customer and much information is available online about every used car for sale at Florida Fine Cars.  Find out as much possible about a car’s history before your purchase so you are completely comfortable with your selection.

Buying a used car at Florida Fine Cars is as easy as clicking a mouse! Shop for your next used car from the comfort of home, then stop by Florida Fine Cars and take a test drive.

“We are trying to make it easy and pleasant. We want everybody to be happy, whether they buy a used car or not,” Tasevski said. “We are very honest and transparent. We provide Carfax reports, Autocheck, anything a customer wants. And there are no hidden fees.
