MARGATE – Florida Fine Cars own marketing coordinator Cesar Pentzke recently took the stage at O’Malley’s Sports bar for an acoustic performance with the punk rock band, “The Grounds.”

The crowd loved him.

Pentzke, who performed at the Vans Warped Tour in August 2018 in West Palm Beach, is the band’s lead singer and a song writer who writes his own stuff.

The Grounds was the first of three bands that preceded the headliner, “I See Stars,” from Detroit. It was an acoustic performance.

Pentzke said he likes intimate settings like the one at O’Malley’s because they allow for a lot of interaction with the audience. Several times, concert-goers sang along with Pentzke’s band in a show of support for his storytelling style.

Pentzke, who graduated from Full Sail University with an associate’s degree in recording arts and a bachelor of science in entertainment business, is the creative force behind all the cool videos and social media Florida Fine Cars uses to promote its cars and customer service.

He’s been making music since age 11 when he picked up his dad’s guitar. He also plays trumpet, trombone and drums. He goes by the name “Cesar Punski” in the music world.

Born in San Francisco, Pentzke grew up in Royal Palm Beach, FL and graduated from Wellington High School. He came from a family of high achievers who love to make music: his dad is a musician and a doctor; his mom sings and is a microbiologist; his paternal grandfather was a composer and his maternal grandfather, a lawyer. His brother teaches high school photography and his sister is a lawyer.

For years, Pentzke toured Florida and the United States, performing at different clubs, bars and other venues. He had just finished a 30 to-40 day tour when he was hired by Florida Fine Cars about two years ago.

His bandmates included William Parker Rockenstein on guitar and Michael Block on bass. Drummer Seth Hochstadt was absent.

Why Are Positive Online Reviews So Important?

Florida Fine Cars’ large number of positive online customers reviews are part of the reason the dealership received an “A+” rating from the Better Business Bureau.

When it comes to monitoring what consumers say online about Florida Fine Cars, the used car giant has learned the value of great reviews and great customer service, according to the Better Business Bureau (BBB), one of the country’s most revered online review sites.

While most car dealerships are lucky if they have a dozen or more online reviews posted each month, Florida Fine Cars easily has hundreds of monthly reviews, said Florida Fine Cars Loyalty Manager Ana Mercado. And most of them are positive.

“If people have a bad experience they share it everywhere,” Mercado said.  “Getting them to talk about the positive experiences is important to counteract the negative reviews.”

Florida Fine Cars is a family-owned dealership that’s been in business since 1993. The company has stores in West Palm Beach, Miami, Hollywood and Margate.

In November 2018, the used car dealer received an “A+” rating from the BBB, a distinction that placed the company in the top one percent of all used car dealers in Florida, the BBB said. The A+ rating was largely based on positive customer reviews.

Accreditation signifies “trust and integrity, and an unwavering commitment to consumers” and requires an intense vetting process, according to Donna Mongillo-Dunn, Director of Marketing and Advertising for the BBB in Southeast Florida.

“It’s an achievement. It’s definitely something Florida Fine Cars should be proud of,” Mongillo-Dunn said.BBB Logo (2)

The BBB’s West Palm Beach site is visited by six million viewers seeking information on local businesses so attaining an A+ rating is a very big deal.

But getting positive reviews posted doesn’t happen without a focused effort to get customers to actually write those good reviews.

A customer who’s had a bad consumer experience may post a negative online review as a way of venting their frustration and anger. But a happy and satisfied customer may not feel the need to post an online review because the transaction was positive.

Savvy dealerships like Florida Fine Cars understand that if they don’t encourage happy customers to post about their positive car buying experiences, the only online reviews consumers will come across will be negative ones, even if there are only a few.

BBBPhoto2

Marketing coordinator Cesar Pentzke says Florida Fine Cars worked to improve customer service for more than a year to receive BBB accreditation.

“We’ve really made a company effort to focus on our customers. We just made a commitment,” said Marketing Coordinator Cesar Pentzke. “It’s really rewarding to finally see BBB accreditation. Just to get that speaks miles. We worked really hard on it for a full year. I really think if you give someone a great experience they are going to want to tell their friends.”

Florida Fine Cars receives a minimum of 400 to 500 new reviews a month on sites like DealerRater, BBB, Google, Edmunds and Yelp. Others come in from from sites like cars.com and CarGurus.com, Mercado said.

“We are trying to make the experience different than any other used car dealership – very unique,” Mercado said. “We are getting a nice amount now and I tackle them all.”

Customers who file online reviews on DealerRater have to go through a process that involves registering before they can post a review. The steps can be a deterrent, but happy customers do it anyway.

Many dealers complain that they can’t get their managers to commit to the online review process, or complain that customers simply don’t want to take the time to write reviews.

Mercado admits it can be a challenge, but noted that Florida Fine Cars’ culture of transparency has contributed greatly to their success in receiving positive online reviews, she said.

BBB Photo1

Florida Fine Cars Loyalty Manager Ana Mercado shows off the dealership’s new BBB award with Florida Fine Cars managers.

“We have to be more transparent. These vehicles are pre-owned vehicles and some have been in accidents and we disclose everything. We make sure they don’t leave with any questions unanswered,” Mercado added.

Florida Fine Cars’ reputation as a top notch place to buy used cars continues to grow. Also in 2018, for the second year in a row, the dealership was nationally ranked by Auto Remarketing Magazine as one of the top used car dealers in the country. And for the third year in a row, Florida Fine Cars in 2018 received DealerRater’s Consumer Satisfaction Award for providing top-notch service to customers in the Tri-County area and across the nation.

Dealerships must pay attention to their online reputation because consumers today are tech-savvy and screen companies online before deciding to shop. The more positive reviews a company has, the greater their credibility, Mercado said.

“We are noticing a huge increase in people that are coming to our website to research companies,” Mongillo-Dunn said. She further noted that 65 percent of the consumers who visit the BBB website are doing so from a mobile device.

“This is a technologically savvy consumer,” she added.

Florida Fine Cars doesn’t take its reviews for granted either. Mercado writes personal responses to EVERY SINGLE review that comes in.

Navigating the reviews can be tricky business. The key is always making the customer feel like they have been heard and that their concern is being addressed.

Employees must also always maintain a professional demeanor, too, because someone is ALWAYS watching and listening.

Some customers may rave that their Florida Fine Cars car buying experience was the best in their life. Others may complain about anything from the fuel level in the car to an issue with a floor mat. All have to be answered.

“I tackle the negative reviews by personally calling them myself if I can get the information off the review itself. If not, we respond accordingly and make sure we let them know we tried,” Mercado said. “Other readers are also looking at those negative reviews to see what we do. They could be future customers of ours.”

The way Mercado sees it, answering the BAD and the GOOD just makes sense if a business wants to be perceived as being responsive.

“When I go to a restaurant I actually pull up the reviews and read about it,” Mercado said. “It’s a virtual world these days. You have to stay on top of it all.”

Florida Fine Cars Earns “A+” Rating From Better Business Bureau

BBB Logo (2)WEST PALM BEACH – Family-owned, independent used car dealer Florida Fine Cars has received an “A+” rating from the Better Business Bureau (BBB), a distinction that places the company in the top one percent of all used car dealers in Florida, the BBB said.

Accreditation signifies “trust and integrity, and an unwavering commitment to consumers” and requires an intense vetting process, according to Donna Mongillo-Dunn, Director of Marketing and Advertising for the BBB in Southeast Florida.

“It’s an achievement. It’s definitely something Florida Fine Cars should be proud of,” Mongillo-Dunn said. The BBB issued the coveted rating in November 2018.

Florida Fine Cars has stores in West Palm Beach, Miami, Hollywood and Margate. The company has been in business since 1993.

Customers who shop at a business with a top BBB rating have the added assurance that the business operates with good ethics.

bbb2

Florida Fine Cars shared the news in an Instagram post.

According to the BBB website, “If a business has been accredited by the BBB, it means BBB has determined that the business meets accreditation standards, which include a commitment to make a good faith effort to resolve any consumer complaints. BBB accredited businesses pay a fee for accreditation review and monitoring for continued compliance and for support of BBB services to the public,” the website states.

BBB Rating Signifies Transparency, Honesty and Great Customer Service

Businesses that have earned a BBB rating display the logo on their website so customers know their business practices have been reviewed and rated.

“It’s a pretty intense vetting process in order to become accredited. It includes background searches, the proper licensing, and a review of their social media. You also can’t have too many complaints depending on size of the company,” Mongillo-Dunn said.

Businesses that choose to be rated by the BBB understand that transparency and honesty are key to success and are confident that what they offer will stand up to review, she said.

BBB-rated organizations agree to follow these standards:

  • Build trust
  • Advertise honestly
  • Tell the truth
  • Be transparent
  • Honor promises
  • Be responsive
  • Safeguard privacy
  • Embody integrity

“The most important thing the BBB can offer is what I would call validation-trust ethics. You cannot be part of the BBB and be a sleazy company,” she said. “It means that this company has been properly vetted. This company is following the BBB standards for accreditation and the consumer has place to go to if the business does not behave the way they are supposed to behave and say, ‘I need help.’”

Customers Prefer to Shop at BBB-Rated Businesses, Study Shows

FFC Logo New Car

A recent consumer survey by the BBB showed that customers searching for used cars preferred to read a BBB profile of business instead of referring to the business’ own website profile.

“Overwhelmingly they wanted to come to the profile we had on file, not the business’s website,” Mongillo-Dunn noted. “They want to go to a neutral website where they see what the BBB has to say about the business, not what the business has to say about themselves.”

2018DealerratercustomersatisThe “A+” BBB rating is Florida Fine Cars most RECENT accolade. Also this year, for the second year in a row, the family owned dealership was nationally ranked by Auto Remarketing Magazine as one of the top used car dealers in the country. Earlier this year, for the third year in a row, Florida Fine Cars also received DealerRater’s Consumer Satisfaction Award for providing top-notch service to customers in the Tri-County area and across the nation.

Mongillo-Dunn said many used car dealers don’t apply for a BBB rating because they know the review process is so intense.

“They are afraid to come forward. A lot of companies are not so transparent and don’t want to be under the watchful eye of the BBB,” she said. “It’s a commitment they are making in their business that they are not allowed to veer from and it’s important for consumers.”

Florida Fine Cars Improves Service with Customer Email Connection

moreusedcars

Used cars fill the showroom at Florida Fine Cars.

MIAMI – When it comes to customer service, Florida Fine Cars is king. The family owned used car dealership is setting an impressive standard that has earned the growing business national recognition on popular consumer review sites for responsiveness.

The company, celebrating 25 years in business, has recently implemented an email system that puts customers in direct communication with Florida Fine Cars if they can’t reach a salesperson via phone and need a question answered quickly.FFC Logo New Car

The intent is to offer help quickly and efficiently.

Florida Fine Cars Fine Tunes Customer Service Options

Here’s how it works: Customers simply send their questions to “customercare@floridafinecars.com” for the fastest service around. A Florida Fine Cars customer care expert replies as quickly as possible.

“It’s in place so we can offer our customers faster service.  Let’s say for example a customer is having difficulty getting a hold of someone. We would suggest for them to send an email to customercare@floridafinecars.com,” said Florida Fine Cars marketing coordinator Cesar Pentzke.  “It’s kind of like an express way for customer care.  Once the email comes to our attention then we make sure the request gets sent to the appropriate outlet.”

Online Reputation Can Make or Break a Business

It’s important stuff because unhappy customers aren’t shy about making their views known on consumer review sites. And too many bad reviews online can become a nightmare.

morecarsinline

Used cars await buyers at Florida Fine Cars.

Making sure a business’s online reputation is a positive one is something no business owner can afford to overlook. That’s why Florida Fine Cars strives to be innovative in finding different ways to hear customer concerns and provide the best service possible.

According to Forbes magazine, businesses “risk losing 22 percent of business when potential customers find a negative article on their first page of search results. That number increases to 44 percent lost business with two negative articles and 59 percent with three negative article.”

Simply said, what consumers find online can have a huge impact on business.

“Online reputation management is important for businesses of any size,” notes smallbiztrends.com. “It’s about creating a positive Web presence to make your brand one that people trust and want to engage with.”

Florida Fine Cars is making an overwhelmingly positive mark.

2018Dealerratercustomersatis“The staff at this dealership really delivers quality service. Management, sales and financing staff were all friendly and helpful with the purchase of the vehicle,” wrote one customer in an April 2018 DealerRater review.

Wrote another customer in an April 2018 Google review: “If you are looking for someone who is willing to give you advice on what you need to hear rather than what you want to hear, then look no further and check into this dealer. Highly recommended.”

Dealership Earns Customer Satisfaction Award for Third Time

For the third year in a row, one of the country’s most popular consumer review sites  recognized Florida Fine Cars

for consistently delivering outstanding customer service.

The South Florida dealership received DealerRater’s 2018 Consumer Satisfaction Award for providing top-notch service to used cars buyers in the Tri-County area and across the nation. The used car chain has stores in Miami, Hollywood, West Palm Beach and Margate.

The award gives Florida Fine Cars a unique distinction based on the dealership’s high volume of five-star online customer reviews.

“Providing our customers with an enjoyable, stress-free car-buying experience that emphasizes quality service is what Florida Fine Cars is all about,” said marketing director Jamie Suid. “We want every customer to leave with a great car and great memories. And our amazing reviews show that we are hitting the mark.”

DealerRater features more than four million dealer reviews, and has a reachable audience of more than 32 million car shoppers each month.

Florida Fine Cars’ new customer care initiative is important because a company’s online reputation can be the deciding factor on which link a customer clicks first and where they ultimately decide to buy.

It’s important to remember that when it comes to people buying a product from brands and businesses, a majority of people look for other user opinions online.

Already, the new dealership is creating lots of buzz: More than 100 turned out for a recent job fair to staff the new facility.

But the family-owned dealership didn’t simply give the tickets away. The winners had to first find them by participating in scavenger hunts at the Hollywood and Miami dealerships where the tickets had been concealed.FFC Logo New Car

Exceptional Dealerships Do More Than Sell Cars

Running a great dealership is dependent on great sales associates. But what makes a dealership exceptional? Let’s look at other factors that separate a great dealership from one that is just good:

  1. Great Products: Car dealerships are all about selling cars. But to be truly great, a business has to offer a product that stands out from the crowd. Florida Fine Cars is known for its variety of quality used cars with an emphasis on luxury for less. Our buyers purchase only the highest quality used cars for sale so our customers can drive home the best used cars around.
  2. Incredible Service: With fierce competition in the used car business, it takes more than shiny cars to stand out. Customers today are looking for great service and if they don’t find it, they will post negative reviews on online review sites to voice their displeasure. Florida Fine Cars has been nationally recognized by Yelp! And DealerRater for its exceptional customer service. “Yelp” and “DealerRater” recently presented the family-owned car dealership with their highest customer service awards, a unique distinction based on Florida Fine Cars’  high volume of outstanding online customer reviews.“The People Love Us on Yelp” award and DealerRater’s “2017 Consumer Satisfaction Award” are tribute to the dealership’s dedication to excellence.
“Took care of us as the only customer. Give professional sincere advice and recommendation as required. It’s the place I recommend and advice. Clean, comfortable and well served lounge,” wrote one customer on DealerRater after purchasing a used car at the Hollywood store.
  3. Dedicated Staff: A motivated staff that is determined to go the extra mile for customers is what every dealership needs to succeed, extending from the workers who wash the cars to the sales personnel and finance directors. Everyone has to work together to make the machine run smoothly. Florida Fine Cars national sales rankings and customer service awards are evidence that the company is comprised of passionate people who love what they do and love to see happy, satisfied customers.Social media makes it even easier for customers to voice approval or disapproval about a product or service so it is essential that everyone works together these days to provide the best customer experience possible.
  4. Community Involvement: Believe it or not, it’s not always just about the money. A car dealership’s links to its own community and its level of philanthropy can be factors that turn the tables for some customers, who want to purchase vehicles from a good neighbor. Supporting charitable causes are deeds that don’t go unnoticed. Customers sometimes want buy from businesses that are standout community members. Florida Fine Cars regularly sponsors community events to underscore its connection to the community it serves.

FFC_TOP100 aerial(

MIAMI – Florida Fine Cars, a family-owned independent used car dealer, has been nationally ranked by Auto Remarketing Magazine as one of the top used car dealers in the industry. The dealership has stores in Miami, West Palm Beach and Hollywood.

Florida Fine Cars’ 2016 annual sales qualified the dealership for inclusion in the magazine’s annual “Top 100 Used Car Dealers” list. Dealers were selected for the “Top 100” list based on dealer rankings data provided by Cross-Sell Reports, which collects sales data via state Departments of Motor Vehicles, according to the magazine.FFC Logo New Car

Florida Fine Cars Miami was also included in the magazine’s “Top 25 Traditional Model Independent Dealers” list, a high honor that distinguishes used car dealers based on high-volume sales. National chains were not included in either list.

Quality Inventory and Great Service Equal Strong Sales

The rankings focus on “some of the strongest used-car selling independent stores in the country,” Auto Remarketing notes. “The dealers we spotlight in this feature represent some of the strongest in pre-owned performance.”Screen Shot 2017-06-06 at 7.24.29 PM

The “Top 100” list was published in Auto Remarketing’s June 1, 2017 edition.

Florida Fine Cars’ ranking is a tribute to the company’s determination to offering quality cars at competitive prices coupled with top notch customer service, said Florida Fine Cars Marketing Manager Jamie Suid.

“Customers won’t return or share their experience with family and friends if you don’t provide great cars at great prices,” Suid said. “If you don’t offer it all, you can’t compete.”

The Florida Fine Cars family is proud to have been included on the “Top100” list, he added.

“It’s a huge accomplishment that represents a lot of hard work,” Suid said.

What Are the Traits of a Successful Car Salesman?

ffcmiamiinventorySelling used cars is all about sealing the deal but the success of sales personnel hinges on their followup and how it’s done. Consumers view the car-buying process as stressful, confusing and time-consuming. Making the purchase process quick, easy and painless is what the most successful car sellers do best.

The sales personnel at Florida Fine Cars do exactly that. The dealership’s top sellers for February and March are almost all repeat winners.FFC Logo New Car

Moe Eisa is consistently the top seller for the West Palm Beach store and is the company’s top-selling saleman overall. In February Eisa sold 31 used cars and in March he sold 44 used cars.

Jon Ansari was Hollywood’s top salesman for the same period, selling 17 used cars in February and 18 used cars in March. Jose Acosta was the Miami store’s stop seller in February with 20.5 used cars and Tyrone Thompson was Miami’s top seller in March with 30 used cars.

All four top-selling sales associates know that great customer service is what selling used cars successfully is all about.

Too much, too little or too late are all factors that tank sales and keep customers from coming back. High pressure, low pressure or a failure to return phonecalls can be dealbreakers. Finding a balance is the foundation of success.

3 Reasons Customers Come Back

Becoming a top-seller isn’t easy. It takes time, a dedicated work ethic and the ability to establish trust. It’s no surprise the best sales personnel are successful month-after-month: most follow a process to ensure customers come back or refer them to others. Here’s some best practices that keep customers smiling.

1.) Clearly Explain Value & Pricing

Customers want good value above all else and a sales associate who can clearly explain why a deal is great is going to make the sale.

According to AutoRemarketing, customers’ reasons to buy stem from transparency. A salesperson who is straightforward about price points, dealer benefits and added perks such as free loaners is more likely to get a customer to sign on the dotted line. It’s all about building trust.

Florida Fine Cars’ sales personnel work hard to make sure customers understand exactly what kind of car they are purchasing so car buyers are happy with the used car they take home.

Money Magazine notes that nearly three-fourths of consumers, or 72 percent, also want to complete their credit application and financing paperwork online. The reason is simple: they want to save time at the dealership and have less pressure filling out the paperwork. Progressive dealerships like Florida Fine Cars make this service available online with a simple mouse click.

2.) Follow Up in a Timely Manner

Calling customers back is key to sealing any deal and a customer who’s on the fence may just need a little time to think. The best personnel know how to follow up without harassing the customer. A car buyer likes to know their salesman has their best interests at heart but someone who relentlessly dogs a customer is likely to have a negative effect.

3.) Communicate by the Customer’s Preferred Method

If a car buyer wants you to stay in touch by email, then use email. Or if they prefer texting, text.

    • 60 percent of baby boomers prefer a phone call and 40 percent prefer email; Gen Xers and millennials are split 50/50 between email and phonecalls.

Honesty is the Best Policy

Today’s customers are more educated than ever because of the availability of third-party research tools such as Kelley Blue Book and Edmunds, which help take the uncertainty out of car shopping. Customers arrive ready to buy a car with knowledge about pricing, competition and Carfax Reports. Savvy dealers understand the Internet can easily expose shady practices.

Florida Fine Cars offers customers a free Carfax report with every used car on its website, and access to the Official Kelley Blue Book Guide to make price comparisons easy.
